Our Technique

You don’t twist, crack or pop?

“So how do you adjust the bones? How does that little thing move a bone?” You may have seen some pictures on our website or social media pages, and thought: “What is that instrument you’re using? What is the doctor doing? Is that safe?”

  • The instrument is called an integrator.
  • It’s part of the Torque Release Technique.
  • Yes, it is very safe! In fact, it’s so safe, that we adjust babies all the way up to people in their 90’s, pain and discomfort-free.

 Let us explain.

Dr. Nicole is specialized in the Torque Release Technique (TRT), one of the most researched and advanced techniques in Chiropractic today. TRT has proven over years of research to get better and faster results. It was developed out of randomized clinical trials, blinded with placebo controls, and is the only chiropractic technique to do so.

This supports the overall goal of chiropractic care, to build on and encourage the body’s ability to naturally heal injuries and illness, and better adapt to the stresses of daily life.

With TRT, the chiropractor gently adjusts the vertebrae in the spine, creating a more normal tone to the nervous system, which is why it is also known as the tonal technique. When your spinal tone is too high, you can experience stress to your musculoskeletal system, dysfunction in the organs, and a decreased effectiveness in your immune response. When the tone is too low, you can end up with weakened muscles and a variety of aches, pain and discomfort as the nervous system fails to properly conduct electrical impulses to your body.

TRT is specifically designed to help these neurological tonal imbalances by regulating the brain, spinal cord and nervous functions. It corrects these spinal misalignments by using a specialized adjustment instrument with highly accurate and precise movements.

“What about that instrument that you are using?”

That instrument is called an Integrator. The Integrator is a torque and recoil release adjusting instrument that combines the best of existing chiropractic techniques and principles, quantum physics and the body/mind connection, creating the first integrated chiropractic system.

“How does that little thing move a bone?”

A lot of this approach is based upon quantum physics. It reproduces the entire thrust and movement components of TOGGLE RECOIL, the classic Chiropractic Method of adjusting by hand. But unlike the slower speed of the hand, the integrator is able to adjust at a speed of 1/10,000th of a second.

“Why is this technique so great?”

The technique is so effective because of its power to analyze and correct subluxations.

Subluxations interrupt the brain’s communication with the body. Torque Release Technique addresses what’s called the primary subluxation, which reduces spinal cord tension and nerve root irritation in a shorter amount of time, with longer-lasting results.

We are privileged to see amazing results in our practice on a daily basis. We see people get off medications, no longer experience seasonal allergies, have improved digestion, get better sleep, gain freedom from headaches and migraines, and of course, experience reduced back pain. When you remove the stress on an individual’s nervous system, you allow the body to heal the way it was designed to. True healing comes from the inside out and we believe that is possible for you!

Inspired Stories

“For the last 20 years I’ve averaged less than three hours of sleep every night. Being a busy business owner, this lack of sleep made me feel like I was deteriorating. After just one week of being adjusted, I began only waking up once during the night. My quality of life has improved, I have much more energy, and happier thoughts throughout the day…”
